Consumer Unit / Fuse Board Installation and Replacement

Many homes throughout West Yorkshire are equipped with an old style fuse box. If your property is one of them we recommend that you upgrade your fuse box for a new style consumer unit that will not only provide better electrical safety for your property, family or tenants, but will also ensure your home is compliant with the current electrical regulation standards.

How will I know if I need to upgrade?

If your current electrical installation meets the current BS7671 requirements then you won’t need to upgrade. However it is very difficult to ascertain this information without professional testing equipment.

Our domestic electricians will be able to carry out a thorough inspection and provide you with the necessary certification or alternatively, we are qualified and competent in removing old style household fuse boards and installing new consumer units.
